Help
Connect a domain you own.
weeLinks cannot sign in to your registrar. Two records are enough. Add them, wait a few minutes, then press Check DNS.
Already a website
Do not add the A record to the bare name. That name already opens their site, and replacing it takes the site offline.
Add a name in front instead, such as go.yourdomain.com. In weeLinks, add that full name. At the registrar, add the TXT on _wee and a CNAME whose name is go. The website records stay as they are. Mail stays as it is.

Where to add them
- Open the domain, then DNS.
- Add a TXT record. Name is _wee. Leave the domain out of that box. GoDaddy adds it. If it asks to change the name, choose the option that keeps _wee.yourdomain.
- Value is the token on your weeLinks domain card.
- Only if the bare name is not already a website: A record, name @, value 76.76.21.21. If the site is live, skip this and use a name in front.
- For a name in front, such as go.myle.dev, add a CNAME. Name is go. Value is cname.vercel-dns.com.
After the records
Back in weeLinks, press Check DNS. Verified means the token was found and the name was sent for a certificate. A .dev name insists on that certificate. If the first open says the site cannot be reached, wait and try again.
Leave mail records alone. A TXT named _wee does not touch email. An A record on @ does, if that name already opens a site or a short-link service.
